Graduation Snapshots

Some updates in my life...I thought and thought of whether I should go for the convocation, and in the end, I went! It was just a ceremony, but it is really about thanking those people who believed and supported me throughout this study. I wouldn't have been able to do on my own. Thanks TS for all the humour you injected now and then that kept me sane. Tobey, who had to be used to having mommy at the computer more than with him and to my profs who are so encouraging...

Finding ourselves...

It is not about the "what" question (what shall we teach)
It is not about how we teach or why we teach.
It is about WHO is the self that teaches.

We teach who we are.

The Hair Saga

Some time down the road, I will probably remember how crazy I was to have done this. Mich asked me what inspired me to do this?!? Well, too much K-dramas? Mid-life crisis? Or just simply stress? I needed a change. So I went to get my hair...extended. I grew my hair! Within 1 hour, I have long wavy locks! The lady who did my hair told me I am going to look so different even my family members won't recognise me.

TS said he cannot bear to touch my hair, "I see dollars and dollars hanging all over it". Ya, it cost a bit, but well, just this once lah, I am just curious. I chanced upon this shop in Far East Plaza and they really did quite a good job. TS also went for a haircut, and it was hilarious that the young funky hairdresser told him, "Today, I give you a modern look! Many ways to gel your hair."

I almost couldn't recognise him when he came out of the shop!

So this is our new US!

Living Life is about...

Catching your breath and pausing to think about what life holds.

Is it a dream?

What if one day we wake up to realise that all that exist is a dream?

Somebody's dream.

Would you pay the price and to make them come true?

When he sings, my heart just melt...

object width="425" height="344">

This is the most played song in my audio system now in the car. It is Tobey's favourite song, that he shares...only with me! He has been listening to it over and over again ever since I introduced him to Les Miserables. Interestingly, it was also my favourite song when I was young and how I pretended to be Singapore's version of Eponine...

Tobey would only sing to me...and when he does (only once!) sing "On my own", my heart just melted like a cornetto on a hot hot day...it was so sweet.
