What a nice birthday cake! But not mine!Happy Birthday to ME! Thanks everyone for your birthday greetings, well wishes, love, care and concern...I am indeed blessed.
This morning, I was awakened at 6:30am by the two men in my life to a rousing "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" that totally jolted me out from bed. I can imagine the prelude before that when the bigger man tells the smaller man to shout at a count of 1, 2, 3 and before that, must have made fun of me drooling in my sleep.
I was told that this year's theme for my birthday is simply, "SIMPLE". When I walked out to the living room in the morning, a pink water bottle filled with up with water greeted me...along with a little card. Okay, that's really simple. Then when I read the poem on the simple card, it was a simple but sweet poem about a simple girl and a simple man on a simple birthday.
Then came a phonecall.
"Where do you want to go eat tonight?"
Okay, the simple man did not plan yet as hoped. The simple girl has to decide. So I said, "Pan Pacific's Keyaki Restaurant".
He has no idea how much it cost, I know when he said, okay. Then an sms came, that says,
"Know which restaurant to go already. I will book."
Apparently, the simple man has found out that Keyaki will burn a hole in his pocket so he gave a simple proposal to another restaurant called "Botan" which is 1/5th of the price at Keyaki.
I think this year's theme should be "Budget". And the simple man says,
"No, that's next year's theme."
